Compliance Policies

ReversePilot provides a set of compliance policies that can be enabled to align with your company’s operational requirements. These policies are built around sensible default values, but you may choose to disable some of them depending on your specific use case.

Making Policy Changes

You can enable or disable these policies directly in the Settings section of ReversePilot. Changes take effect immediately, without requiring a system restart or any additional configuration steps.

Policy Overview

Below is a summary of the available policies in ReversePilot, along with explanations of what each policy does.

Loan officer cannot create loan in a state where they are not licensed

Purpose:
Ensures that loan officers only create loans in states where they personally hold a valid license.

  • When enabled:
    Loan officers are restricted from creating loans in states where they do not hold a valid license.

  • When disabled:
    Loan officers can create loans in any state, regardless of their licensing status.

Loan officer cannot create loan in a state where the company is not licensed

Purpose:
Prevents loan officers from creating loans in states where the company itself does not hold a valid license.

  • When enabled:
    Loan officers are restricted from creating loans in states where the company does not have a valid license.

  • When disabled:
    Loan officers can create loans in any state, regardless of the company’s licensing status.

Do not allow loan to be marked “Clear to Close” if General, Prior to Docs, or Prior to Close conditions are not cleared

Purpose:
Prevents loans from being marked “Clear to Close” if there are still conditions pending.

  • When enabled:
    Loans cannot be marked as “Clear to Close” unless all General, Prior to Docs, and Prior to Close conditions have been cleared.

  • When disabled:
    Loans can be marked as “Clear to Close” even if some conditions remain pending.
