Welcome to ReversePilot! This guide will help you get started with your account and understand the system.

Account Creation

For Company Administrators

If you are setting up a new company in ReversePilot:

  1. Contact your ReversePilot administrator to create your company account
  2. You will receive login credentials via email
  3. Upon first login, you will be prompted to change your password
  4. Complete your company profile in Company Settings

For Company Users

Company users are created by Company Administrators:

  1. Your Company Administrator will create your account
  2. You will receive an email with your login credentials
  3. Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page if you need to reset your password
  4. Contact your Company Administrator for any account-related issues

User Roles and Hierarchies

ReversePilot uses a hierarchy-based permission system with the following roles:

Super User

  • Full system access across all companies
  • System configuration and administration
  • Typically reserved for ReversePilot administrators

Company Administrator

  • Full access to all features within their company
  • Can create and manage users
  • Configure company settings, loan products, and permissions
  • Manage compliance policies and licensing

Company User

  • Access to loan processing features based on assigned permissions
  • Can be assigned specific roles (Loan Officer, Processor, Underwriter, Closer, Funder, etc.)
  • Access is controlled by permission groups assigned by Company Administrators

Initial Login

  1. Navigate to the ReversePilot login page
  2. Enter your email address and password
  3. Click "Sign In"
  4. If this is your first login, you will be prompted to change your password

Password Requirements

  • Minimum length requirements (as configured by your administrator)
  • Must meet complexity requirements
  • Cannot be the same as your previous password

Understanding Permissions

ReversePilot uses a permission-based access control system:

  • Permission Groups: Collections of permissions that define what actions users can perform
  • Module-Based: Permissions are organized by functional areas (loans, documents, reports, etc.)
  • Role Assignment: Users can be assigned to multiple permission groups

Common Permission Groups

  • Loan Officers: Create loans, calculate loan proceeds, submit applications
  • Processors: Process applications, collect documents, verify information
  • Underwriters: Review applications, issue approvals, clear to close
  • Closers: Prepare closing documents, manage closing process
  • Funders: Process funding, manage post-closing tasks

Basic Navigation

Main Dashboard

After logging in, you'll see the main dashboard which provides:

  • Overview of your assigned loans
  • Quick access to common tasks
  • Recent activity and notifications
  • Loan status summaries

Loan List

Access all loans you have permission to view:

  • Filter by status, loan officer, date range
  • Search by borrower name, loan number, or property address
  • Sort by various criteria
  • Export loan data

User Profile

Access your profile to:

  • Update personal information
  • Change password
  • View assigned permissions
  • Manage signature images (if applicable)

First Steps After Login

  1. Review Your Profile: Ensure your information is correct
  2. Explore the Dashboard: Familiarize yourself with the interface
  3. Check Your Permissions: Understand what actions you can perform
  4. Review Company Settings: If you're an administrator, configure your company
  5. Create a Test Loan: Practice creating a loan application (if you have permission)
