FHA Connection Integration

ReversePilot integrates with FHA Connection (FHAC) to interface with the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) for HECM (Home Equity Conversion Mortgage) loan processing.

Overview

The FHA Connection integration provides:

  • Address validation for HECM properties
  • Case number assignment for HECM loans
  • Certificate search and retrieval
  • Financial assessment submission
  • Insurance application processing
  • Case transfer and management
  • Appraisal logging

Prerequisites

FHA Connection Credentials

Before using the FHA Connection integration, your company must have:

  • FHA Connection Username: FHA Connection user account
  • FHA Connection Password: FHA Connection password

These credentials are configured in Company Settings by the Company Administrator under FHA Connection credentials.

FHA Connection Features

Address Validation

Validates property addresses for HECM eligibility:

  1. Navigate to loan application
  2. Go to FHA Integration section
  3. Click "Validate Address"
  4. System sends address to FHA Connection
  5. Receives validation response
  6. Updates property information

Case Number Assignment

Assigns FHA case number to HECM loan:

  1. Navigate to loan application
  2. Go to FHA Integration section
  3. Click "Assign Case Number"
  4. System sends case number request
  5. Receives assigned case number
  6. Stores case number in loan record

Requests CAIRVS (Credit Alert Interactive Voice Response System) authorization:

  1. Navigate to loan application
  2. Go to FHA Integration section
  3. Click "Request CAIRVS Authorization"
  4. System sends authorization request
  5. Receives authorization
  6. Stores authorization information
